WELCOME to my studio.
I have enjoyed teaching students of multiple levels, abilities and ages (6 to 68) for more than 40 years. My goal is to grow a love of music, life-long learning and functional skills that can be used in everyday life.
I have had many students succeed in Exams and Festivals and several who have gone on to set up studios of their own. Others have developed skills to just play many styles of music for their own enjoyment.
3 to 4 Piano classes are held throughout the year to encourage sharing student’s love of music and performance. Games are a fun part of Piano Class!!
Studio location is in Ranchlands NW Calgary.
I teach 35 lessons in the year September to June with breaks for teacher vacation and school holidays. Studio policies and Fees are available upon request, preferably at a student interview.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the days I teach. Lesson lengths are 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes depending on level of study and the inclusion of theory subjects.
I am certified with the Royal Conservatory of Music to teach piano, theory and harmony.
